The premier springbok hunting property in the world.

Jules of the Karoo Safaris is THE premier springbok hunting property in the world. Offering free-ranging springbok in all four color phases, (common, black, white, and copper), Jules of the Karoo has been home to more record book springbok than any other property – by far. Currently 11 of the top 15 entries in the Safari Club International Record Book’s were taken at Jules of the Karoo. As a matter of fact, the current World Record Common Springbok for all four hunting methods, (rifle, muzzleloader, handgun and bow), were all taken at Jules of the Karoo! But for many hunters there is no more beautiful mount in a trophy room than the artistic arrangement of The Springbok Grand Slam of all four color phases.
Take part in trophy and management hunting on the plains of the Karoo and its vast expansive landscape and experience South African hunting of 150 years ago in modern day luxury!
But that’s not all. Jules of the Karoo offers more than 40 species of Plains Game hunting on in excess of 300,000 acres! Whether you are looking for magnificent cape kudu, feisty bushbuck, elusive eland, striking gemsbok, or diminutive steenbok, we can make your safari dreams come true in a vast breathtaking landscape.
Jules of the Karoo is located in the Northern Cape Province of South Africa, and is owned and operated by Julian and Martisan Theron. The Theron family has been on the land since the late 1850’s. Julian is a 5th generation farmer and has been hunting the Karoo for the last 35 years. He is a passionate hunter and dedicates his time and energy in the breeding of top springbok genetics. He believes in preservation by utilisation. Julian’s mindset and dedication have earned him the nickname “Springbok Man”

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.”
